If you cancel all or part of a camping reservation, you may be eligible for a refund of camping fees. The amount you are refunded depends on when you cancel or change your reservation.
Transaction fees (which help us maintain the reservation service) are non-refundable. For more information on camping fees and transaction fees, visit the camping fees page.
Each type of reservation has a ‘cancellation window’ that determines how much you are refunded, based on when you cancel. This page outlines the cancellation windows for:
- Frontcountry camping reservations
- Backcountry camping and canoe circuit reservations
- Group camping and picnicking reservations

At most parks, you cannot change a reservation after 8pm two days before your scheduled arrival date.
Frontcountry camping reservations
